WorkerHub Privacy Policy

WorkerHub collects user information to operate the app and provide platform services.

Camera Permission
WorkerHub may request camera access to allow users to capture or upload profile photos, service photos, worker photos, or booking-related images. Camera access is used only when the user chooses to use the feature. WorkerHub does not access the camera in the background.
Payments
WorkerHub may allow customers to pay providers directly using UPI. WorkerHub does not collect, hold, or process the actual payment amount for direct UPI payments. Users may enter UTR/reference numbers for tracking payment status.
Data Sharing
Relevant booking/profile details may be shared between customers, providers, and workers to complete services. WorkerHub does not sell personal data.
Data Retention
Data is retained while the account is active or as needed for legal, business, fraud prevention, safety, or dispute-resolution reasons.
When users request account deletion, certain related details may be soft deleted and retained as internal information with WorkerHub only for operational mapping (such as bookings and related service flow), compliance, safety, fraud prevention, and dispute-resolution support.
This retained information is not used for unrelated purposes.
How We Use Information
WorkerHub uses collected information to create and manage accounts, enable bookings and service fulfillment, improve app functionality, support users, maintain safety, and prevent fraud or abuse.
Data Security
WorkerHub uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. However, no system is completely secure, and users should also protect their own account credentials.
Children's Privacy
WorkerHub is not intended for users who are not legally allowed to use the service under applicable law. If we learn that personal information has been submitted in violation of applicable law, we may delete that information.
Third-Party Services
WorkerHub may contain links or integrations with third-party services (for example, payment apps or map providers). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.
Account Deletion
Users can request account deletion by following the steps on /delete-account.
Changes to This Policy
WorkerHub may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
